In case you’re thinking of taking your family on a trip to NYC to a museum, be sure to stop by The Homeless Museum of Art.  I can’t give you an exact address because there is none.  This museum truly is homeless—travelling place to place.

Artists have been pushing the boundaries for centuries, but just when you think all areas have been exhausted, there’s always one artist who finds a way to push it a bit further. (That’s one of the reasons why I ♥ art).

Meet Filip Noterdaeme, Collector and Director of The Homeless Museum of Art.

Noterdaeme is nothing more than a performance artist who created “HoMu in 2002 as a performance prank simultaneously mocking New York culture and being itself an embarrassment to New York culture.”  Not much different than a Happening.  So, “yes”, I’ve heard of art without boundaries but I never heard of a “homeless” museum without walls—that is—until today!

What’s your feeling on the subject?
